2009 NATIONAL JUNIOR OLYMPICS
Stanford Water Polo Club has the distinct honor of hosting this summer's 2009 Junior Olympics. The planning process is already underway, and we will need the help of each and every one of our Club Families to help achieve our goal of making this the Junior Olympics for the history books! To get involved, or if you have any questions/ideas, please email Coach Barnea ( email ) or Dawn Vargas ( email ).

The boys' Junior Olympic competition will take place July 25th - July 28th , and we hope to qualify as many Stanford Club teams as possible. In order to participate at the Junior Olympics, teams must first qualify through the zone-qualifying tournament. (See dates above for each age group's qualifying dates). In order to be considered for a JO Team, athletes must commit and declare themselves eligible by submitting the Junior Olympic Declaration of Commitment along with the $200 deposit by Wednesday, May 27th . (The JO Declaration of Commitment form will print out with the signature pages once you submit your online registration. We encourage you to submit the Commitment form and deposit with your registration materials.) Selection to a JO team is based on, but not limited to, the following criteria: overall ability level, work ethic, and longevity with the Club.
