National Junior Olympic Tournament

The Stanford Water Polo Club prides itself in competing each year in the National Junior Olympics.  This year, the National Junior Olympics will be held in Northern California in the Cupertino/South Bay area. 

Athletes wishing to participate in the Junior Olympic Tournament are required to attend the qualifying tournament in order to be eligible.  In addition, athletes must commit and declare themselves eligible by submitting the Junior Olympic Declaration of Commitment along with the $100 deposit with your registration materials.  (The JO Declaration of Commitment form will print out with the signature pages once you submit your online registration.)

PLEASE NOTE: The rosters posted below are for the Qualifying Tournaments only.  Permanent placement on these rosters will be based on several criteria including, but not limited to; practice attendance, tournament participation, attitude, and performance.  We have a list of alternates who will be contacted should any roster spots open up.

Each athlete will be responsible for paying his own travel expenses and a portion of the coaches/club expenses. Once your team has qualified for J.O.'s, you will receive an itinerary with a detailed list of expenses.

Should your son's team qualify qualify, your check will be held as a guarantee of your commitment and the funds will go toward your trip's expenses. If your child is not selected to a Junior Olympic team, your check will be shredded by June 24. If you do not honor your commitment, the $100 check will be deposited and used toward the Club's operating expenses.

If we have not received the declaration form with your $100 check by Tuesday, June 12, 2007, your position on the team will be given to an alternate.
